Elephant plains Lodge is found on 80 acres of untouched wilderness, 2 minutes to the main park entrance, no where else where one can sleep closer to the equator like Elephant Pains, with magnificent views of the equator monument viewable from all corners of the lodge.
Burrowed next to beautiful lake Kikorongo where the open plains merge into the crystal waters. Often you get to see large numbers of Elephants coming to drink from the lake, hence the lodges name.
Elephant Plains is a new luxury lodge found on the most amazing view point in the whole of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Set up 941 metres above sea level, high upon the western escarpment of the Albertine rift in the North East of the park, the lodge offers comprehensive views stretching for miles over the huge open grasslands to lake George.
Enjoy a short drive to the Kasenyi plains which offers open savannah a habitat to several wildlife. This area has out of this world game viewing, a huge number of Ugandan Kob, some lion hunters and other cats and grassland birds.
