The Nkuringo Gorilla Camp is situated on the Nteko ridge overlooking gorgeous views of the world renowned Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. The ridge provides awesome views across the Kashasha river valley to the forested hill known as 'Nkuringo'.
To the east is the Albertine rift valley and to the south is the iconic majestic Virunga Volcanoes. The views from this vantage point are to die-for! It just simply doesnt get better than this-in our view.
Nkuringo Gorilla Camp has 2 beautifully hand crafted cottages with ensuite bathrooms. In addition Nkuringo Gorilla camp boasts 5 budget rooms sharing w/c and bathroom facilities to cater for the budget sensitive gorilla trekkers.
Campers are also welcome to set-up tents in Nkuringo Gorilla Camp's grounds with meals available from the gourmet restaurant.
Th Kashasha river valley just below Nkuringo Gorilla Camp is home to the gentle giants Nkuringo group of Mountain Gorillas. At Rushaga some 17kms from Nkuringo Gorilla Camp and accessible by vehicles is a 2nd habituated Nshongi group of gorillas.
