Humura meaning “a state of relaxation and calm” is a city based hotel but in the atmosphere of country calm.
The small but elegant 18 room hotel with modern amenities (wireless internet, business center, conference facilities and guest lounge) offers the guest personalized service uncommon in larger establishments.
The staff are trained to ensure the guest maximum comfort and round the clock attention. Amenities at the hotel include a modern guest lounge for quiet reading, TV viewing and other entertainment; while the gym and pool bar are also available for the guest use. An annex to the hotel provides large grounds for quiet study and reflection, and private entertainment.
The adjoining building also provides fine dining, and can be used for private meetings. Within 5 minutes walk of the hotel is the Kampala Golf Club, major shopping malls, and the city centre is only within 10 minutes drive from the hotel. The Humura conference room accommodates up to 40 participants.
The facility offers power point, flip chart and other necessary audio visual amenities, and also has wireless internet available. The room is available for use by guests in private meetings and larger discussion gatherings. Outside groups that typically use the conference room include international donor organizations and private companies in retreat.
The Shiima restaurant offers all catering for individuals or groups using the conference room. A business centre on the upper level is available for internet access, printing and other word processing requirements.
