Day 1:After breakfast travel to Jinja.Along the way you will observe the coffee, tea and sugar plantations and colourful roadside fruit/vegetable markets.
First stop is 40 km from Kampala at Mabira Forest to see primates and birds. The list for Mabira Forest Reserve contains almost 300 species.
Lunch at Kingfisher Safaris resort or Nile Rivers Explorers Camp for you to enjoy a variety of sumptuous local dishes on offer. This is the place to be! Spend the afternoon relaxing at Bujagali Falls where several rapids are situated close together. Return to Kampala, arriving early evening.
Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Day 2:
Begin the panoramic 217 km drive north-west through the famous Luwero Triangle to Masindi Town and then 137km on to Murchison Falls National Park arriving in time for a picnic lunch at the spectacularly situated site at the top of the Falls where you can see the Nile's beauty perfected!
Enjoy the superb comfort and service of the Nile Safari Camp. It is nestled peacefully amongst the rich papyrus forest on the southern banks of the River Nile.

Day 3:
Cross the placid Victoria Nile to the northern Bank. Your guide will help you to catch a glimpse of the Elephants, Cape, Rothschild's giraffe, hartebeest, Waterbuck, Oribi, Bushbuck, Bohor reedbuck and the hyena.

After lunch board a motorised boat for a safari upstream the calm Victoria Nile to the base of the falls, stopping just tens of meters from the hair raising cave - "Devil's Cauldron". One of the highlights of the visit to Murchison Falls National Park is the launch trip from Paraa to the foot of the Murchison Falls. Hippos and crocodiles are abundant and one can also see elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks and a variety of birds like herons, cormorants, ducks, bee-eaters fish eagles, kingfishers and sometimes the rare shoebill. Take time to marvel at the toothsome hippos, crocodiles and over this 17 km stretch you may see the waterbuck and Uganda Kob. This is also a zone of many bird species like Goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant and the rare shoebill stork.
Over night at Nile Safari Camp.

Day 4:
Drive south via Hoima to Fort Portal through verdant countryside and past traditional homesteads and farms. Fort-Portal rests in the shadow of the fabled “Mountains of the Moon”. Enjoy the spectacular landscape enroute, from rolling hills, to neat tea plantations.

Ndali Lodge perched on the rim of an extinct volcano which, since its demise, has filled with water to become the breathtaking Lake Nyinambuga – 250 acres in size and 130 metres deep. The cottages face west to offer a panoramic view to the spectacular 'Mountains of the Moon”.

Day 5:
Full day search of chimpanzees at Kibale National Park located in western Uganda Kamwenge district.Look out for chimpanzee’s primates and a network of shady forest trails that provide much to impress butterfly lovers, while birders are in for a treat with 335 species recorded, including the endemic PIn the afternoon you may opt to take a boat trip in one of the crater lakes.

Day 6:
Proceed 180 km South-West to Queen Elizabeth National Park following the mystical Rwenzori Mt. Range.
Almost 100 mammal species and a remarkable 606 bird species makes this superb safari territory, with elephant, a profusion of hippos, the elusive giant forest hog and handsome Uganda kob all regularly sighted around the tourist village on the Mweya Peninsula,which also boasts a marvellous waterfront setting in the shadow of the Rwenzori Mountains.
Arrive at Jacana Safari Lodge in time for lunch.
Jacana Safari Lodge has seven independent luxury chalets, and a family cottage that has two rooms joined together, each is curtained by the embrace of the dense foliage of Maramagambo Forest. All the chalets assure its guests of a peaceful and restorative stay with a unique theme of their own.
Prepare to go for a boat cruise in the afternoon.

Enjoy the unique 2 hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel into Lake Edward. This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of hippos. This launch cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. The prolific bird life is colourful and stupendous with well over 550 resident species.

Day 7:
One Game drive today. Queen Elizabeth National Park's diverse eco-system of grassy plains, tropical forest, rivers, swamps, lakes and volcanic craters is home to an incredible abundance of wildlife. The park has over 200 km of well-maintained tracks that give visitors access to the park’s game. Game drives in this park, with the massive Rwenzoris as a backdrop provides excellent opportunities to see lion, leopard, giant forest hog, Cape buffalo, elephants, defassa waterbuck, Uganda Kob, Topi and bush buck. These two game drives and the boat trip (taken prior) are a memorable method of discovering a vast array of wildlife.
Dinner and overnight Jacana Safari Lodge.

Day 8:
Depart for Kampala with great memories of moments spent with fascinating, yawning, hippos and lions . You will have a stopover at Lake View Regency Hotel in Mbarara for lunch.
Arrive in Kampala in the evening.
